Top Management accepts overall responsibility for the effectiveness of the management system and for safeguarding impartiality in all certification activities.

We recognize the importance of impartiality and proactively manage conflicts of interest to ensure objectivity, fairness, and transparency. Oversight of impartiality is maintained through an independent Impartiality Committee.

Impartiality & Integrity

  • Certification activities are conducted without bias, undue influence, or discrimination.
  • Risks to impartiality are identified, reviewed, and controlled through impartiality safeguards.

Competence & Consistency

  • All personnel involved in audits, technical reviews, and certification decisions are competent, qualified, and continuously trained.
  • Certification processes are applied consistently to all clients, irrespective of size, industry, or affiliation.

Confidentiality & Transparency

  • Information obtained in the course of certification is kept confidential and used only for its intended purpose.
  • Information required to be made publicly accessible, such as certification status and scope, is published in the Certified Client Directory without compromising confidentiality.

Client Fairness & Non-discrimination

  • All applicants and certified clients are treated fairly, without favoritism or prejudice.
  • Access to certification is not restricted by size, membership, financial, or political considerations.

Compliance & Continual Improvement

  • The management system complies with ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015 and applicable accreditation body requirements.
  • Effectiveness of the system is maintained and continually improved through internal audits, impartiality committee input, management reviews, corrective actions, and preventive actions.
